Rock Climbing Photo: GT ledge selfie
Just wondering who has had the chance to get some good wildlife photos? I've seen them spread across the site but I wanted to see some of the best ones you all have gotten during your climbing exploits. kurt gregory

Thanks! I just happen to find alot of snakes. I have more but none are as good as those. My climbing partner and myself drove from Boise to Smith Rock one year during the breading season and saw over 100 snakes on the trip.

I see other animals too.

You saw an actual tortoise in the desert. I was sure they were a myth perpetuated by every park I have ever been to where they give me a tortoise pamphlet and tell me not to touch the tortoise. I figured one lived there generations ago and since they live so damn long the caretaker of the park assumed one was still alive in the vicinity. rging

A zoom lens would have caught a better glimpse of this Wolverine. It was moving pretty fast through the basin.

Whoops. The OP asked for 'good' photos. These may not count. Both were taken in the Tetons.

These guys (Racers) have amazing eyesight. He was tracking my movement over 15 feet away as I got ready to take these pictures. They climb trees pretty well too.

Screw that, you caught a picture of a WOLVERINE, that automatically qualifies as badass!

And Doug, that second snake picture is amazing. What lens were you using? As in, how close did you have to get and how mean are these snakes?

All of these photos are stellar! Really cool. Doug Lintz that bottom photo of the snake is unreal man! Fucking fascinating creatures. I have a 7ft black snake that lives in my barn and he climbs straight up blank walls, I've never been so awe struck, just stopped in my place when I first saw him do it. How snakes climb so well is beyond my experience/understanding of movement/nature I guess. The Stoned Master

Grow scales and it will increase your climbing ability by ten grades. It won't help with the ladies though.

What is that "99" on the wing at the end freeze frame? A tag?
