I wouldn't off hand state this is as unsafe (the anchor has the minimum 3 anchor points and a decent looking equalization) but it would potentially kink the cables (and forever wreck them) on these wired nuts with this obvious improper and totally not needed (all the extra sling laying there)arrangement. I wonder what led or gave this person the idea that this is proper use of a wired nut?

there's that and the fact that if they were to just slide the wedge of the nut down on the wire they could have used the full length wire the same way as the dogbone of a quickdraw
