Enjoying the shade on the Amphitheater's Backside.

This is an awesome shaded area behind the Amphitheater with a few sweet routes. It's much more secluded in comparison to the neighboring Red Wall or the Monkey Traverse. There are a few steep moderates, a V7/8 traverse, and some really fun climbing.

Getting There

Walk up behind the amphitheater and go a little further west.

Start at an obvious chalked jug and traverse right past some OK edges to a good sidepull. The initial steep section i...[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
