Description Suggest change

Amon Gwareth is a tucked away free-climbing gem of the Eldred River Valley that hides among the larger nearby giants. The wall is 260m tall at it's highest aspect, and is defined by dozens of precisely cut, clean corner systems with many of them featuring 60m vertical sections of stem-box corners waiting to be karate kicked by climbers far and wide.

A nice bivy site is located directly beneath the wall. The best flat spots are actually hidden underneath the largest boulder bivys. Water can be found year-round a minute in the forest beside the bivy site.

Getting There Suggest change

From Climber's Camp drive down Goat Lake Main past 36 mile. Continue straight down Diane Main. Drive up Diane Main until you hit a deactivated bridge. Walk up slabs beside creek for 30 seconds look left for red flagger leading into forest. Follow trail up to old logging road, up past fresh cut block, up through ancient forest into boulderfield. Ascend boulderfield until underneath wall.
