Hey Mountain Project International world!

I am traveling in Australia and am looking to meet up with local climbers and climb some Australian rock. If you might be that person or know someone that would be interested in climbing with me, go ahead and send me a message.

I am a guide in Colorado, well experienced and know more than one way to keep myself from dying.

Thanks!

I have been told by Aussie friends that this is the wrong time of year for climbing in Australia. WAY TOO HOT was what they said.

Well, there a certainly better times to climb in australia, but it is still
possible as long as you go to shady crags and climb in the morning late afternoon
(i was climbing in victoria last year in february).

Hi Patrick,

I'm an Aussie climbing in Red rocks this Feb. I live in Melbourne and know the local Victorian climbs including Arapilies and the Grampians. When were you going to be around down under? Where in the country were you planning on climbing? This time of year in Feb is actually okay for climbing. You have to avoid the hot days but this year has been quite mild compared to most.
Good luck!

Isaac

I'm a Coloradan living in Melbourne til my visa runs out July 2015 - I have a bizarre schedule with my outdoor education job but hit me up! I'm just cruising around the 5.7 - 5.10 range depending on if it's sport or trad. Going to Camels Hump tomorrow to check out a local Melbourne spot, but I've been to Arapiles a few times and can give a few tips. emme.chris@gmail.com
