The Alien Head

Description

This climb ascends the southwest face of a small mini-spire formation on the hillside across and east of the Rattlesnake parking lot. It is located relatively low on the hillside and can be reached in about 10 minutes or so from the parking area. 1.32578 stars out of five.

Location

From the Rattlesnake parking lot, hike east, across the Rattlesnake wash, and head over to some jumbled boulders low on the hillside, just left of the steep gully which leads east. On the largest boulder, you will see the route.

CONDITION REPORT
The holds in between the third and fourth bolt have become semi-chossy from multiple ascents. I tended to rely on slopers a lot more, as the obvious jugs were starting to come off.

CONDITION REPORT
Chalked Jug within a few feet above the first bolt is coming loose. Pretty much the largest hold on the route and hard to miss. Rest of the route is amazingly solid
