Description

Very soft rock, yet without a long approach. At the time, we parked right at the Maintainence garage tucked in along I-70, though this access may be closed nowadays.

Getting There

Drive on I-70 and exit the road onto a small service road near mm 118...that is, if they haven't changed the numbering system....but this would be the same access used for the road to The White Knight.

Feed The Worm 5.9 A1+  UT : San Rafael Swell : ... : Albino Worm Mesa
At the time, I was working in Papua New Guinea, and always seemed to be hungry and up for eating. Many of the friends from that time would often comment that it was time for me to "Feed the Worm". That was usually a good idea, I would think!Pitch #1: Climb a finger crack to a roof and some aid. Pass some sloping holds on the spur passing several bolts to the top of the mesa and a two-bolt belay.5.5, A2, 32m.Rappel the route....[more]   Browse More Classics in UT
