Description
Upper Pop Rock is also uphill (West) of the trail that takes you to Crackland. This crag can be spotted from the Lower Pop Rock and is situated further uphill and a little more South. This crag contains 1 route and is south facing and short. Unfortunately, this crag and the Lower Pop Rock are not destination spots but if you're heading to Crackland and you want to tick off some routes than they might deserve a stopover.
Getting There
Before the obvious side cut, and the turn off for the East Grapefruit Area, take a right on a dirt road that is guarded by a red gate. Park here if gate is locked, if not continue up the road (close gate behind you) to a parking area. At the far end of the parking area is a trail that traverses East to the backside of the dome. There are cairns that mark trail along the way; the trail is becoming more apparent as it sees more use. Traversing some talus slopes you will notice some smaller crags uphill, these are the Lower and Upper Pop Rocks. Approach time takes 12 to 15 minutes.
