Looking for holds.

Description

An outstanding pitch. Very balancy, requiring core strength and patience: listen to the rock and seek the moves.

This route is the second pitch above Akdong-ha. Landmarks are a chain anchor with a hook; the route goes up from here, through three roofs.

This route is overhanging, so if you rappel with one 60m rope you'll get stuck in space. Bring along a second rope--60 meter recommended--and rappel all the way to the ground.

Location

This is the most obvious line on the upper wall of Yongseo. Climb Akdong-ha(5.10c) first and belay from the anchor.

Protection

14 quickdraws. Recommend longer draws for bolts under the roof.

A second 60 meter rope to get down.
