Description 

The closest high mountain to Chamonix. Gorgeous, except for the ski/climbing lift. A bit sad aesthetically, but awesome for ease of access to the Vallee Blanche.


Getting There 

Spend a few euros and take the cable car, or walk 3000 vertical meters.

The Classic Climb. AD, Grade II, mostly snow and moderate alpine climbing, with a few sections of strenuous mixed climbing (in winter) or easy rock.The start up from the Cosmiques laboratory is quite easy, no need to rope up.
