Description Route Name: Agua Negro. Bolted perfectly for a 5.8 climber. Steep but plenty of holds and solution pockets. Several variations possible. This is probably the best quality climb at Texas Canyon. There is a belay station mid climb. After that the climb is 5.0.
Location Center of east wall of The Canyon. Obvious water grove. Short oak tree at the base. Go straight up left of the oak tree.
Protection Quickdraws, bolted
Climber on the left doing Agua Negro by top rope. ...

| Is this route also reffered to as Rt C-1? |

| Rt-C1 was an old designation that I made until I got with Loomis and he gave me the first ascent name. This site does not work with routes that do not have names. There are many of these at Texas Canyon and so they are not yet on this site. |
