After the Sunset during sunset.. (pitch 1)

Description

A long wandering arÍte with stunning views. On a clear day you can see Mt Ruapehu.

Pitch 1
Follow the bolts up the wandering arÍte. Variation: Can lead Sunset Ledge (Trad 14/5.7) instead of P1 as an easier option.

Pitch 2
Start to the left, then move back right to the arÍte. Technical moves for the grade all the way to the top. Bolted belay in the shade amongst the foliage.

Location

Towards the end of the point. Starts on the arÍte immediately right of Sunset Ledge.

Protection

Pitch 1 - 9 bolts
Pitch 2 - 7 bolts
Bolted belays at the top of both pitches.
