Description In A Cheap Way To Fly, there is a "roof band traverse" mentioned. After looking at the large, detatched looking blocks up there, I rapped in and had a look. In short order I easily sent a microwave sized block falling. These used to be the holds!!! After some more cleaning of large loose flakes, we ended up with a fantastic dyno problem with some of the best holds on the wall. Start at a perfect three finger pocket crimp with the left, and another equally perfect finger bucket rail for the right. Above you and to the right is a large, deep, side pull pocket that is hard to ignore. Latch that sucker, and real in jugs to the top. Classic for the grade.
Location Left side of the wall, left of the tree.
Protection A pad or two.
