Dear All,
For years I provided logistical support to mountaineering, backpacking and research parties headed into the Karakoram Himalaya of northern Pakistan. At this point I have turned this "guiding" service into a completely free resource with beta for both Western and local alpinists.

Mountain project users may find some of the sections pretty basic and boring but will find others such as blogs about security concerns going to Pakistan and expedition planning useful. Please let me know what you think (both positive and negative) by commenting on blogs, pictures etc:

Hope you take some time to browse through it.
Best wishes,

Looks great Ali! Great climbing with you too! There is a trip to the Himalaya in my future for sure. Just haven't figured out when and where.

Cale it was great climbing with you too!

Browse through the photos and tell me which peaks appeal to your style of climbing. I will then upload more pictures like that and we can narrow down climbing areas within the Karakoram that may interest you.

We'll get you down there soon enough!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
