Description

Many parts of this area are shady all day long, some are even in cave-like areas. When I was there it wasn’t very crowded – only saw one other couple climbing all day. Sometimes people walk up from the park to look around, but just spectators.

The rock is nice. A mix of english-muffin cragginess and smooth candle-dripping laybacks. One of the climbers that gave us beta at the Aventuras Tierra Adentro said it was similar to Red Rocks, but I haven't climbed there so I can’t compare.

Getting There

There’s a parking lot about a 10-minute walk from the crags. The guidebook available free from Aventuras Tierra Adentro has driving directions.
