It was a cold day in the fall of 2003 when two intrepid explorers (Sue not pictured) were coerced to climb Olive Oil burdened with crash pads. The destination being a boulder problem in the descent gully which Hans bravely ascended.

I may have to change my opinion of boulderererers. Classic tomfoolery shot.

This photo has even greater comedic value for me now that I have finally climbed Olive Oil. Too funny. My admiration for this stunt would be even higher were I assured the crash pads stayed on their backs while negotiating the squeezey chimney pitch.
