Description Suggest change

This covers the area in the 49 Palms Canyon. There are a number of good problems but much of the area has yet to be developed. Some of the rock quality is great but has not been climbed on often so it is necessary to check the strength of holds to ensure safety. The boulders are located just off the road before the parking area.

Getting There Suggest change

From Twentynine Palms drive about 5 miles west on Twentynine Palms Highway to the Fortynine Palms Canyon Road exit. Go about 2 miles south on Fortynine Palms Canyon Road past the gate. Boulders are located to the right and left near the no camping sign.
