Description
The Perfect Wave slab is a truly interesting geological feature. The whole slab (more than 200 feet high by 300 feet long) is detached at its top, and therefore the water runoff from the slopes above flows down BEHIND the slab. The "gap" can be most easily seen at the top of the area above Silver Surfer to Perfect Wave (the climb). For the climber, the result is nearly "perfect", clean white granite slab with some of the most compelling slab routes on the cliff, if not all of New Hampshire. If only they were longer, they would all be "4-Stars out of 4".
