Description

This area lies between Yellow Lichen Buttress and Saturday Buttress and contains several dirty routes in the 5.8-5.9, all of which according to Mike Farris are "not worth doing".

Getting There

From the parking lot off Rock County 8 take the paved bike and pedestrian path until the cliff line is clearly visible. Take the approach trail that cuts a right angle with the paved trail through the grass to the base of Saturday Buttress and continue to the left to the base of this buttress.

The crux is about 3/4 of the way up. 5.8 seemed an accurate rating to me, but because I am the first one to submit this route, I have entered the guidebook rating of 5.8+....[more]   Browse More Classics in MN

The guidebook says "dirty and hardly worth doing" before each of these routes, but I think otherwise. If you are looking for moderate trad leads this place has 5 lines!
