Description

Pumpy climbing up a steep laybacks with good gear, leads you to a bolt at the crux. Fun face climbing to the ledge then one more bit of business through the top bulge to the chains.

Location

Look for the steep crack just past (right) the start to 5.8 C.

Protection

Cams to .75, bolts, chains. Gear is only needed for the first crack bit.

It should be noted noted that I put the route down, not up. I first top roped the route, cleaned the grunge, and made sure the gear was OK. Therefore, placing good gear in the short crack at the start during an onsight will be a bit more difficult than the FA.
