Description
Probably the most popular wall at the Butte. Rock is basalt and is a bit slick - especially early or late climbing season. This is a short 30-40ft wall, which has about a dozen routes, all of which can be top-roped. There are couple sport-leads too.
Getting There
Take Fremont road which turns into Rocky Butte Road. Follow this until there is a big 90-degree turn and you start uphill. Park on the gravel shoulder just left of the normal looking church buildings, not the dome, which is directly across from Video Bluff. From the road, spot the red 5 sign on the tree and walk straight through to a spray painted boulder that marks the spot. This is the first wall right (looking towards the wall from the bottom) of Silver Bullet Bluff.
