The Donger
Went to a store near work yesterday to check it out for myself. Herb was very high quality with a good selection. Custumer service was good and there was no wait. Prices were extremely high, $60 an 1/8 so I left paying about $140 for a 1/4 with about $25 in taxes included in there.

Budtender said things were going well and slowly getting busier.

Overall, I feel that it's really nice to be able to walk into a store and do this. On the other hand, it cost me more than double what I normally pay so I will probably only be doing this in emergency(yeah, weed emergency) or convenience. Being able to grow is the real nice thing.

Tony, all I'm saying is keep an open mind. We tend to think we know everything but are often wrong or misled. Science constantly proves previous scientific facts are incorrect.

OK, I've got an open mind, and when some evidence presents itself, that mind will be open to switching sides.
Meanwhile, telling the guy that keeps saying "There is no evidence for that." that he doesn't know everything when he is pointing out a lack of evidence to people that think weed cures cancer... well, that's pretty ironic.
There's a been a lot of irony in the thread.
If you think it's cool that people who are completely uneducated are spreading BS that people with real problems might want to buy into, we're in different places with it.
Meanwhile, I'm well aware that I don't know everything. That's why in my 40's I'm still taking classes (in this kind of stuff, BTW).

Meanwhile, I guess it's either religeon or science for each of us. With the former, you pick the one that suits what you want to hear, with the latter, you need data.

We can only hope that when it is finally proven once and for all that Marijuana Kills Cancer?
Those that perpetuated the lies and benefited from the War on marijuana face class action suits for all the people that died and suffered because of the insane war?

Fine with me,Lock up the drug war people now.
And let the FDA & the courts lock up anyone who makes such a claim without evidence for practicing medicine without a license, false advertising, etc.

The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) was signed into law in Oct 1994 by President Clinton to amended the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Under DSHEA, any representations or claims made about products must be substantiated by adequate evidence to show that they are not false or misleading.
Prior to that, it was just straight-up FDA/DEA.
Since the FDA isn;t going to treat MMJ as a supplement, if there is an 'epidemic' of crazy claims, expect a visit from the DEA, not the FDA.

I've been to the Boulder Wellness Center and they were pretty nice. They had some good stuff too.

Does anyone have a good recommendation to a good one down in Denver? I'm going to be there next week for a week. Thanks.
