| Hi everyone, My name is Cory Lamz. I'm new to the forum. Seems like a fun place, good community. I'm hoping someone can help me out. You see, I'm a reporter for the Boulder Daily Camera and I'm writing a climbing related story. Two climbers from Boulder have gone missing in Peru. Their names are Gil Weiss and Ben Horne. They both work for Beyond Adventure Productions. Does anyone on here know these two guys? If so, I'd like to talk to you. Give me a ring at 303-473-1361 or send me an email at lamzc@dailycamera.com In case you hadn't heard about what's happened, you can catch up by reading this: www.dailycamera.com/news/boulder/ci_21173021/tracks-spotted->>> Thanks everyone, Cory Lamz | FLAG |

| If people want to help and have good eye for visual detail, Tomnod set up a web app to crowdsource labels on satellite images of Palcaraju in an effort to guide ground search parties: tomnod.com/gi/peru/ The Supertopo thread has some gold star examples of what people have found though some of them have wisely compared before and after satellite images instead of the app which only has data from the 26th. There's also a link for donations to help the family fund the search effort. Any amount helps. thanks | FLAG |

| Here's a link to a story with more info. Very sad, Gil was climbing with me and my group in Colorado during my very first climbs not too long ago. Lets keep climbing and seeking adventure in honor of them. Denver Post Article
| Here's a photo of Gil I took this year on top of Devil's Tower. Gil is the one in the green sitting. We're waiting to rap off. Submitted By: Hiro on Jul 28, 2012
