This is a close-up of the Smitty's Caterpillar formation. <br />On this rock lies two steep cracks for your climbing pleasure. The left line, "Eat Leigh Love Bag," starts on a varnished slab in a tight dihedral joining with a diagonaling crack, and then through the caterpillar to the top. The right line, "Cierra Nevada," begins on a low angle, varnished slab with a tips crack, then traverses under and out through a roof. Both routes eventually meet in the middle of the formation at varnished rock resembling a caterpillar, and then continue to the top. Gear anchor. Walk off south (climber's left).
