Looking to get out a couple of times mid week in the next couple of weeks. Hoping to ski a few 14ers, snow is pretty nice at the moment. Skied Handies/Redcloud last week. Hoping to ski some of the collegiates here shortly, whatever is in? Was thinking of doing a trip to Missouri, Belford, Oxford, Harvard, Columbia, and perhaps Elbert. Coming from Boulder, love to ride share with someone. Let me know if interested.

Would love to ski some 14ers. Free most weekdays but coming from the Springs so can't ride share :( Looking to get on some steeper lines as well. Feel free to PM me. By the way how was the road to Sunshine and Redcloud?

Week days only? Available for weekends unfortunately but I'd like to do a couple more outings this Spring. Have only skied Torrey's and Lamb's this spring for bigger lines.

Bump. Looking for anyone from boulder that wants to carpool down Monday night-Thursday night to ski a few peaks.

Not to hijack but looking to ski a few more peaks this Spring and my regular partners are basically done with skiing for the year. Skywalker on Arapahoe is one goal and up for anything in IPW/RMNP. Anyone?

Quit thread jacking jerk! Just kidding. I was actually hoping to get on Skywalker at some point.

double post highjack..

Thinking about giving the S in the SKY chutes a go on Saturday. Weather may not be cooperating at all but thought I'd throw it out there. If not this weekend next for sure.

I have Memorial weekend off (Sat -Monday) and am looking to ski something in the San Juans or Elks. Interested in Wett/Unc, Wilsons, American, could repeat Handies in SJs and Castle/Conundrum/Cathedral in the Elks. Any takers?

What peaks can you climb together in one day hiking....... out of Missouri, Belford, Oxford, Harvard, Columbia, and Elbert

I think Belford/Oxford is very doable, adding Missouri is possible, but a challenge. Elbert would be very hard to do with any other peaks.

I could get into a Belford/Oxford/missouri attempt.

My buddy and I are trying to do 6 or 7 14ers in three days to celebrate the end of the school year haha! I think we are gonna start with torreys and grays then to bleford oxford and missouri and then harvard and/or columbia... any other 2 peaks that can be done in one day?

We're wandering off the ski theme here but...

Belford & Oxford are easy to tag team, you can jog most of the ridge between them. Get an alpine start and avoid the crowds. We made the first summit in time for sunrise and it's great being alone up there.

You can tack Missouri on but it's on the other side of the basin so you there's much more elevation gain/loss than between B&O. If you really want to get all 3 in a day then I would consider driving out and hiking the first 1000ft vert or whatever it is to get out of the woods and into the basin. Camp at treeline and hit it early in the morning.

Evans & Bierstadt are another combo if you're comfortable on the sawtooth and they're up towards Grays and Torreys.

If you want to bag as many as you can in 3 days and you're coming from Denver/FoCo direction, I'd probably just do Grays and Torrey's then keep going out 70, cut down through Breck and climb Quandary the next day, then head over Hoosier pass and climb the Decalibron. It's shorter than driving all the way down to Belford/Oxford and Democrat/Lincoln/Bross are an easy 3 in 1, 4 if you count Cameron.

Whatever you do just make sure to get an alpine start. Sunrise is like a reset button and you'll feel much better doing half of your mileage before it gets hot out. Plus less sunburn.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
