BB's first lead Route #8 6-27-2010

Easy movement along crack to the right of quantum chaos. Only interesting movement was a high foot-jam to pull the roof at the crux.

Route 13 (or #8 in old photo) On the far right on the Diagonals Wall- just right of Quantum Chaos.

4 bolts with anchors or Trad Rack

Equipped by Michael Endrizzi and Joe Mueller

My partner and I both led this route yesterday and gear we used was a few small cams on the bottom and a BD #4 or #5 in the crack to the right of the bulge near the top.

This is a super simple and easy climb. We randomly ran into a guy up from Alabama on an internship in the area who had never climbed before. He had a lot of experience caving but hadn't gone up climbing before. So we harnessed him up, gave him a helmet and let him climb up this route in his hiking boots on a top rope. He had a blast and we may have hooked him as a rock climber in the future.
