Climbing Survey

Hi all - I'm currently doing my Senior Thesis at Colorado State. For it, I am choosing to study participation trends in rock climbing in which I am collecting data primarily through a survey. It would be a huge help if you could take this quick survey (5 minutes max) to contribute to my study. Much appreciated!

Wording is a little off if you mostly climb with the other gender. As a woman, I had to answer that I mostly climb with ";other"; men. This implies I'm a man.
Maybe I read the selections wrong?

Also, what grade do you climb? Big difference indoor vs outdoor at least where I'm from, but you don't specify.

I hope you share your results. I have a suspicion that if you cut the data by age, you may find less gender tension and more comfortable coexisting in the older demographic. Maybe not, but worth a look.

average grade on a rope??? I tried to work this out in my head.... like this

OW = 5.9
Chimney = 5.9
Slab face = 5.12
Overhung face = 5.10d
Pure Friction = 5.12
Off Finger crack = 5.11a
Off hands = 5.10b

how can you figure that out???

Clearly made for women, you might as well just put a disclaimer saying if your not a women don't bother filling out the survey.
