Camping in Spain nov-jan... Should I bring a tent or will it be too cold?

I was planning on going to climb in spain from oct 15-Dec 30 and my plans got shit on delaying my trip to nov 15 - Jan 30.

I was pretty excited to save on accommodation by camping a bunch(I know accommodation is cheap there but I also enjoy camping). I've got a 40 degree bag with a silk liner.

I don't really have any concrete plans but I know I'm going to want to hit up Siurana, Chulilla, riglos, maybe Rodellar, maybe mallorca, and now el chorro since it'll be cool enough.

I don't really want to freeze my balls off at night and I don't know much about the climate in those places so I'm not sure if it'll be worth bringing my sleeping gear as opposed to staying in refugios/hostels.

upgrading my sleeping bag is not an option since my pack is already exploding with gear and I don't really like the idea of having to sleep with a bunch of clothes on every night.

So if you've been to any of those locations during the fall could you give me an idea of when any of them start getting too cold to be camping outside comfortably with a 40 degree bag+silk liner?

I've tried to dirtbag camp at various places in Spain. It can be a major PITA. Generally speaking, my biggest hurdle was always finding a spot (not even nice, just anything) that was either legal, or discreet, which is way harder than you'd think. Land is often private, or there are strict regulations. It's not like the US where you can just camp wherever. Some locals do it when they know a good spot that's well away from town (e.g. Mallorca where there are nice bivy caves).
A 40 degree bag with a liner might be pushing it in places, too esp the northern regions. It will likely drop in to the 30s at night some time on your trip.
You'll have more fun/meet more people to climb with in hostels IMHO. Have fun either way! Spain is so great.

paid campgrounds are still cheaper than hostels, no?

Totally. My limited experience is that they're about half the cost. But I've only ever tried those once, and didn't remember them being super common. If you know differently you know better than me

You'll freeze your balls off at night.

Average lows are 4C (39F) at Siurana in January. It snows quite often. Riglos and Chulilla are colder.

Siurana temps

Chulilla...brrrrr!

Remember that it will be very humid!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
