Camping in Spain nov-jan... Should I bring a tent or will it be too cold?
|
I was planning on going to climb in spain from oct 15-Dec 30 and my plans got shit on delaying my trip to nov 15 - Jan 30. |

I've tried to dirtbag camp at various places in Spain. It can be a major PITA. Generally speaking, my biggest hurdle was always finding a spot (not even nice, just anything) that was either legal, or discreet, which is way harder than you'd think. Land is often private, or there are strict regulations. It's not like the US where you can just camp wherever. Some locals do it when they know a good spot that's well away from town (e.g. Mallorca where there are nice bivy caves). |

paid campgrounds are still cheaper than hostels, no? |
|
Totally. My limited experience is that they're about half the cost. But I've only ever tried those once, and didn't remember them being super common. If you know differently you know better than me |

Remember that it will be very humid! |
