Anyone seen / heard of Bogus Bluff? Panned across it on the map, googled, found this - apparently people think there's secret treasure there

Oops! Haven't climbed at Dodge yet, didn't realize that was part of it.

FYI Shoe Guy is know as "Wayne Bob" anywhere west of WI. I cornered Sharma once to ask if he had been graced by Wayne or Shoe...he had never heard of Shoe but knew of Wayne. The legend continues.

Hi everyone, in light of a couple of comments on this thread, as well as recent developments in the community, we would like to emphatically state that nobody should climb in any State Natural Area in the state of Wisconsin. It does the community a disservice and harms any efforts towards legalizing climbing in some of these locations. These are special places and should be protected and preserved whenever possible.

That said, the Wisconsin Climbers Association is working towards developing a plan with the state that would involve more nuance when compared to the blanket ban on climbing that's currently in place. There are some areas that we feel can handle the extra impact of climbing without negatively impacting the surrounding environment.

Until these areas receive an official exception please continue to climb on the 2,000+ routes and 1,000+ boulder problems that are spread throughout the state on approved lands.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
