Climbing friend,
the 30 feet of 5.11 climbing it is a waste of time. You are diluting your efforts of max crushing, to be wasted at a slow jog on long route of easy, antelope lazy trotting downstream to river style. Instead you may repeatedly pull the 5.13 or 5.14 moves in wild banshee tear your face off attacking style, and you are transforming yourself into savage beast!
do not be afraid of falling, get to yourself multiple large pads and some sense that is common, you will be accepted.
Every time I start to boulder hard I get injured and have to sit out climbing/cranking it for a few months. I find that I simply haven't been able to encounter V10 moves on a rope and injure myself before I pump out.
Hahaha, I love that video. Poor Troy. And to think he's now crushing v9/10, maybe harder this week. I think I need to play him that video next time I see him at the gym.
