FYI. This has recently been posted at the foot of the hiking trail. Throughout the trail. And at the base of Village Wall. At the moment it just warns about the falcons nesting in the area and to be mindful, and it says nothing of a climbing closure.

First gate near the last house. Big parking lot is not open during the winter.

First gate. We were stupid and went to second green gate and were very confused by the directions. Keep in mind you can't use the big parking lot next to it during the winter.

You'll find this boulder and trail marker immediately after the Castle Gates boulders (and I mean, like, immediately after). Go North from here and continue North West around the back of Castle Rock to find Rapunzel's Hair (5.7/9).<br>

Immediately after the Castle Gates boulders you can see this summit. Head toward this and you're on your way to the turnoffs for Central Gully and West Gully.

This is the picture no one wants to see. Keep Castle Rock awesome and leave it better than you found it. Set things where you won't forget. Please be respectful of other climbers and the area in general by keeping it clean and "family friendly."

Key approach Beta to the new moderate sport routes: GPS Lat: 38.59'23N Lon: 119.54'27" is where you take a left off the main trail to castle rock and take this climber trail South down a steep-ish, loose sandy gully. Often no carins or markers here. Miss this turn off and it will be much more work/time to find the routes.
