Free! Yosemite Guidebook App

The bad news: A couple years ago, I devoted a lot of personal time and resources into making a virtual guidebook for Yosemite. Unfortunately, the app never took off to make the investment back.

The good news: I hate to have put so much work into something for so few people to use. Therefore, I have made the app completely free in iTunes and in the Google Play store as a gift to the climbing community.

If you know anyone with an iPhone or Android, have them check it out! I would love to see some more feedback and downloads to know the effort didn't go to waste.

Happy climbing!

Hi Chad,
Thanks for the app, dose it also have Tuolumne Meadows routes?

It's very convenient to have topo in the phone. I use some pictures from MP as well as Vertical-Life app.

Hey Dizzy, only climbs in the valley are included. Tuolumne was going to be a separate project, but I never got around to it.

Is the app no longer available? It is a dead link.

I think it’s still a reasonable question. At this point it could just have a new home and need an updated link. I would download the app if it’s available.

naw. i think we should start an argument discussion about the validity of the question until it devolves into people saying we live is a Marxist state where everyone wants everything to be free. come on MP. LETSGOOO!

Hrmm. If only there were some website where we could post climbing routes for free....  And maybe have a forum. And have some trolls. Yeah that'd be pretty cool.

The app went out of date and was taken down both on Google Play and the Apple Store.  If anyone wants to bring it back to life, message me and I will send you everything I have.  If you can bring it back to the community, great!  You can have it for free.  Although if you sell it for thousands, you better send me a tip

Hi Chad! I just happened upon your forum. I’m new here and would also love a copy!

Thank you so much! Your efforts were not wasted I can assure you. I sense some good karma coming your way…
