Ugh! Sorry to pick on your post, but I see this error in this thread all the time, and I just can't stand it anymore. An extra 15% off on top of 15% off is not 30% off. You don't just add the percentage-off together. In this case, the difference is not big, but when people say "40% off on top of 50% off, that's like 90% off!", no! that's only 70% off! I'm sure retailers do this "extra percent off" on purpose to make we think we're getting a better discount than we really are, so we buy more stuff.

Math time: % of Regular Price = (1 - Total % off) = (1-%off)*(1-addt'l %off)

In this case .85*.85 = .7225 or 72.25% which is 27.75% off.

If you're stringing multiple deals together (like with activejunky) just multiply the additional percentage(s).

for another %10 back it would be .85*.85*.9 or 35% off.

I tried to get one from Mountain Gear a few months back when they were on backorder but no luck. I checked in every now and then but eventually they had to cancel and refund my order as Totem was having issues with production for 2016. Seems that supply cannot keep up with demand.
