Europe starting September 6 - Ceuse? Finale Ligure? Paklenica/Split?

Hey Folks -

I'm hoping to find a climbing partner for somewhere in Europe starting September 6 (departing from Sweden), for about 2 weeks. I've already emailed/PM'd a bunch of people, but it seems most are only available in the latter half.

I don't have any specific goals or locations, but would like to get on quality sport climbs, though I'd be up for some bouldering and trad as well.

I plan on renting a car for the duration, and will have a 70m rope and sport rack. I'd prefer cabin/hostel-type accommodations so I don't have to lug my camping gear around, but I'll bring it if that's the thing to do :)

This is a bit of a last-minute add-on to a trip to Scandinavia, so I really haven't done too much research and am up for suggestions.

Thanks!
Emil

If you're in SW Germany, send me a PM. Can't promise I have time to do any climbing but can at the minimum give info on areas around here, conditions, language help etc.

I'll be in Ceuse September 3-10. From what I hear, finding partners is not a problem.

Bags are packed, and leaving for Sweden tomorrow. I'd really like to check out Ceuse, but I'm pretty flexible so I'll keep an eye on the weather closer to Sept 6 and decide between Ceuse and Paklenica. Maybe a week in each? We'll see...

@SwabianAmi - thanks for the offer! I was in Frankenjura and Pfalz last year, and it was awesome! So I'll probably travel to a new area this trip, but you never know :)

@Evan H - yeah, Ceuse looks pretty good for the solo climber. I'll probably be hanging out at the gite (i.e. lagrangeauxloups.net/anglais/) if I end up there. Maybe I'll run into you...!?

@ichthyic No worries, just putting it out there. Donautal (the upper danube valley) is fantastic and there's loads of cool climbing in the Black Forest, check out Battert specifically.

Any chance you're looking for partners this weekend? I'm in Freiburg im Breisgau, but am happy to travel for some sport or trad.

@Glass Tupperware - I'm still climbing in Sweden this week, but will most likely continue my travels next Monday Sept 12 in Ceuse. Are you available during the week as well?

I could use a partner for Friday at Ceuse.

Cool, I have to work during the week and am probably headed to Oktoberfest the weekend of the 17th. Sounds like we might not be able to link up before you leave europe, but enjoy the climbs!

Thanks everyone for the replies and responses.

I've actually changed plans and am heading to Rodellar, Spain from Sept 14 - 22, staying at Refugio Kalandraka.

Message me if you're going to be in the area! I guarantee good belays and soft catches :)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
