This. In my experience, Katana Velcro are similarly flat-lasted shoes as Anasazis. Because they're all leather they will conform to your feet. If you need softer rubber, buy women's model. Both Katana Lace and Miura Lace have slight downturn - not a similar shoe as Anasazi.

The Katana Velcro hasn't been all leather for a few years. And the leather portion is only over the instep and not the toe, so honestly the amount that it will conform to your foot is negligible imo.

But honestly I don't like the fit on either the VCS Anasazi or the Katana Lace.
