Yeah, but did these beers ever send Father Figure?

So are the beers still there or what?

^^

That's the real question.

How sick would it be if the National Parks, and State Parks left beers in designated creeks and streams! Annual membership would include a map to the beer streams!

I find unopened beers stashed in a stream, I'm probably drinking them...

Ok, I'm gonna be honest here, my heart skipped a beat at the thought of this being a reality. Maybe we can start a sort of geo-cache kind of situation.

Finding a PBR in a stream is one thing but popping the cap on a Rainier is another thing all together:

Did this route end of July. No beers present from what I could tell. Too bad.

We left a six pack of Colorado's finest microbrew on a rock at the top of Jack Ass pass in the Winds. I know someone found it on the hike in and enjoyed it.

Trip report:

Hike in was easy, trail not too hard to find. Beers were stashed in just out of reach, but with some fumbling I was able to snag them. A little choss had accumulated, so I used my bouldering brush to scrub them a bit. The beers were slippery, so they needed much chalk to pinch.

RIP PBRs, they ended up having a great adventure elsewhere in the pisgah.

Thanks again Beer fairy.

Glad you found them. Still disgraceful to the environment and a complete lack of integrity from OP.

They probably would have hiked back for them if they were heady toppers instead of pbr
