I'm curious about the differences and similarities, if there are any, between Hair Raiser Buttress and Figures on a Landscape. For those that have climbed both, are the routes similar in styles of climbing? For example, is one lower angle than the other; more featured; better edges; more smearing? Thanks!

Different IMHO
Hair Raiser is more fun, esp after you figure out how to and get the first bolt clipped.... unless your some 5.12 stud then you just hop on.
I thought my partner was gona die and take me with him.... those old farts sure were stingy with bolts.
I guess I meet the qualifications, having led all pitches of both routes. But it was so long ago that I'm not of much help.
I could reach the first bolt on HRB with my stick clip. (So I misspoke.) It had more holdless climbing. Figures has little edges. And of course the last pitch of Figures is crack.
Overall I was more scared on HRB, despite climbing it before the alleged chopping. But I was probably in my long decline as a climber already (Figures was in the '80s, HRB in the '00s.)
If you can make it to the first belay on Figures, it's in the bag. HRB even though it's easier higher up, it's still possible to blow it.
