Is it so bad to look at a photo of your self and think, that looks bad ass!!
Like seriously selfies are just another way to capture memories and let people know what you're up to. Stop trying to psycho analyse an entire generation.
Are autobiographies narcissistic?

It's not the taking of the selfie - that's wonderful for reminiscing. It's the public posting of the selfie that screams "me me me - look at me"

Generally speaking, an autobiography is a business venture. Either the author or the publisher invests some money, hoping to make money because the public finds it interesting enough to buy. If not, someone's outta some money.

Edit: A bookful of selfies would be a tough sell. "My Life in Photos," Try it.

I don't know who you have on facebook but generally i have friends, the people who might be interested in what i'm up to. Also even when posting it on a sight like mountain project (in my case UKC) it's just you looking at a photo and thinking "that looks sweet i bet others will think the same" it's not ME, ME, ME, it's SHARE, SHARE, SHARE. Go onto facebook and look how many people are sharing stupid stuff that they might find interesting or funny and then proceed to click on the share button you will find it probably takes up at least half your timeline. It's a generation of sharing not narcissism.

Guarantee you it's been done for a college art project.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
