Multipitch on west side on Linville Gorge?

My partner and I are looking to climb a day, hike a day in linville next weekend. I'd like to hike the west side since I'm less familiar with it. So it makes sense to climb there as well if there's anything to do? We're okay with adventure climbing but both injured so would prefer to keep it under 5.9. Anyone know of any fun trouble to get into?

Hike the Rock Jock and check out the "canyons". For multipitch Zen and Razor's Edge are good -they're adventurous enough, but if you really want to step it up a notch, Moonshine can't be beat. Squeezins in Moonshine is good but has a 5.10 3rd pitch chimney (the rest is 9 or so I think). If you climb all the way out it's another 2 pitches of moderate jungle/alpine terrain, overall ~ 500+' of climbing.

Also, Razor's Edge has a 2 pitch corner thanks somewhere in that range. You can't miss it.

Thanks, Nathan. The Razor's Edge dihedral looks really pretty. It's fairly protectable climbing?

Tim, it's been a long time since I did it but I remember it being a little spicy for some reason. Could have been loose rock or dirt, not sure, but a line that would definitely clean up it it actually got some traffic. The last pitch to the top was quite interesting if I remember correctly, and was probably harder than 9, or maybe even 10.

Nathan,
Sounds about right. We were actually just there yesterday. There is a section halfway up that looked low .10s. Not sure because I backed off and downclimbed. (Trying to recover from a torn A2, not aggravate it.) What I did of the route was pleasant enough though.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion, it was still cool to drop in and explore the area.

Tim, we were out in the gold coast area yesterday too kinda surprised we didn't cross paths or see signs of you. I dunno about you but we were feeling bad for the group of 3 on the prow(amphitheater) they absolutely baked in the sun lol. we spied on them a little with binoculars.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
