Snow conditions near Mt. Goode?

Wondering if there is much if any snow at the base of MT. Goode's North Buttress? |

Hiked down Bishop Pass two days ago. You could get to Goode with minimal snow crossings, and probably avoid it altogether. You don't need an axe, poons or even boots; I was in five tennies. Weather is warm, bring lots of water! |

I would not go up there without a light ax and at the minimum micro spikes for approach shoes- that snow/ice patch does not really ever go away and while short can be nasty!+1 That snow field below Goode is shaded and notoriously icy. |
