Bay Area - Castle Rock weekends

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is cool with me tagging along for weekends top roping or bouldering at Castle Rock (never got the chance to go). I'm looking to get more comfortable outdoors, and have done beginner top ropes / problems in Yosemite and Joshua Tree!

Hi Shawna,

I frequent Castle Rock for the bouldering quite often. Shoot me an PM and we could try and link up some time. I have climbed some of the TR in Castle Rock, but the bouldering is where it's at.

Yep, the closest is a walk in campsite a few miles from the main parking lot.
There are other sites along the Skyline to the Sea trail heading towards Big Basin. There are also campsites in Big Basin and in Sanborn Park.
