Link Speed of Life and Third Pillar?

Has anyone done this? Have any beta on which to do first and how to get between the two climbs? I was thinking doing third pillar early (before the crowds) then walking down from the Dana plateau to the speed of life - is that possible?

Would be a great combo i think...Speed is one of my favorite climbs in the country. I would be a long day for sure....

The only problem I see is that Speed will use more gear than Dana, so you would have to carry that all day

Yea - the gear thing was something I was wondering about. Supertopo says to bring a 6" piece for Speed of Life. Did you use anything that big?

I'm not positive, but I doubt it.. I don't remember anytime carrying the biggies in Tuolumne
