Utica, NY area climbing partners

Hi everyone. I'll be starting a job in Utica, NY this week, and am looking for climbers in the area to hit the Adirondacks with on the weekends. I have primarily sport climbed and bouldered, but have been breaking into trad and multi pitch climbing in the past month or so.

On a related note, I've heard word that there is a Utica climbing gym in the works? (!!!!) does anyone know much about this?

Utica climbing gym? Seriously, keep me in the loop on that... Did that Syr gym manifest? They were getting pretty serious about that going in.

Just ran the Boilermaker, and visit my parents here a few times a year. Will be looking forward to the day I have a reason to bring a harness out!
