Best fireworks near Silverton?

Pretty sure we are going to be in the area on July 4th.
Anyone have opinions about the best show? Telluride, Grand Junction, Durango, Silverton itself, elsewhere?
How about a good spot to set off some little beauties from Wyoming without burning down the forest?

If it isn't too far a drive, silverton certainly has a reputation for being the best fireworks. If you're staying in durango, though, I'd probably go with X-Rock or somewhere on the mesa by Fort Lewis. Watching the fireworks from the summit of X-rock was pretty amazing 2 years ago.

Saw the Silverton fireworks from a pullout on the road to Molas Pass.
Got into the area late and didn't feel up to dealing with the crowds in town.
A good show.
