Around July 21st - 24th. Climbing partner wanted for beginner outdoor climber

Hi all,
I'm coming from Australia and would like to do some climbing in California while I'm there.
I've been climbing indoors in Australia for a couple of months, and will hopefully get some outdoors experience before I come over.
I'll be in California from the 20th to around the 24th July.
I'll have shoes but no other gear.
Would be willing to pay towards transport and use of gear.

I'll be in Los Angeles, so somewhere that is accessible from there. But I'm happy to drive/bus/train 5 or 6 hours to get somewhere.
