Some friends are taking a trip to Boston in mid-September (17-21) and invited me. I'm on the fence about going, but it would definitely push me over the edge if anyone from Boston was driving up to Rumney during that span and wanted someone to split gas with.

This is incredible advanced planning...... You seek very organized climbers

piling on. If the weather is nice ~10 million people will be driving Boston->Rumney

Ha, yeah I guess it's early. But there's a deal on airfare that expires tomorrow, so I gotta pull the trigger soon.

So is it fair to say it won't be hard to find someone making the trip?

Probably not hard at all. Lots of Boston climbers drive up here, weekends especially.

Plenty of Bostonians (myself included) will be heading up there regularly, but I doubt you'll be able to solidify plans this far in advance.

The funniest thing is ill probably be doing a rumney trip that week. Gas splitting could be worked out

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
