Hey all! I've climbed in Tahoe sporadically for awhile now but just moved down to call it home last fall. Still searching for some quality partners for either weekedays or weekends (my schedule is a little irregular at the moment). Typically enjoy moderate trad and sport, but I'll go bouldering here and there as well. Get in touch if you're in the area and looking for partners!

Cheers,

Mitch

P.S. - Also into mountain biking or backcountry skiing if those things float your boat as well.

Hey Mitch, I just moved to South Lake in the fall as well and have been looking for someone to climb with on the occasional weekend. Also getting into MTB and planning to do more backcountry skiing next season. Let me know if you want to meet up some time.

Hey, I just moved to California (Chico) from Idaho yesterday. Will be spending a couple weekends a month in North Tahoe and would love to get out climbing. Main interest is also moderate trad at the moment, but beggars can't be choosers. I will be stoked to get out to do ANY sort climbing. (Ice in the winter?) Strong possibility that I'll be there May 12th through the 14th, and I will DEFINITELY be there the 19th through the 23rd. Also like to hit the backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and trail running. I'll message you with my number.

Hey Ryan, got your pm. I'm going to be out of town this week but let's keep in touch. Thanks for reaching out.

Also new to tahoe, South Lake based. Looking for partners for moderate trad +, sport and occasional bouldering. Semi flexible schedule, week-eve and weekends for sure. Working to strenghten my lead game.

Moved up here to spend more time climbing outdoors and stoked!!

Might be trying to get out Mon-Tues depending on how wet things get over the weekend. Any of you free those days?

I might be on Monday. Weather still looks iffy. Let me know if you get out. I think I sent you my digits.

Hey Mitch (and other Tahoe pple on this thread),
Let's climb Tahoe! I've got minimal trad experience but happy to clean and learn. Can lead 10a comfortably, follow 10c/d. Have rope and draws and a rack. 415 845 4031. Would also love to ride some downhill or techy trail.

Just getting back into climbing after a couple years living out of the mountains. In North Lake and work 9-5 but have been getting out after work and weekends. Mostly working my way back into shape with TR/Follows (low-mid 5.10's) and easy sport leads (5.8, 5.9). Trying to get some consistent partners and days in to work my way back into it. Otherwise, just enjoy getting out, having fun, and being safe.

Looks like a few Tahoe people in this thread looking for climbing partners. I'll be sport climbing Big Chief area on the 1st, and am available on the 4th as well (no plans set).

Going to meet up with sierrayves, but does anyone else want to join?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
