Photographer recommendations in Red Rocks (December)
|
My partner and I have chosen to get married at RR (our fav climbing destination when we climb together) and I am looking for some recommendations from a local on some area photographers. Obviously I could find one online on my own but was wondering if anyone here knew anyone personally that they could recommend? We are having a VERY small private ceremony in the park and would be also looking to hire the same person for a climbing shoot a couple days later. PM me if you have any suggestions! Thank you |

I could recommend a ground level photographer and a difference climbing photographer. Don't know any climbing photogs that do weddings. |

The climbing photographer would probably suit us just fine for the wedding... small ceremony, climbing partner from CO officiating, nothing fancy. If you want to PM me and pass along any leads that would be great. |

She did our engagement photos in Joshua Tree which turned out great. For part of the day, she ascended a fixed line I set up to get some really great shots. Really nice and fun to work with - we are both very camera shy and she made us feel very comfortable. |

Also I would assume you have already done research into it but in case you haven't , the permits for weddings in RR only let you have ceremony's at Red Springs in Calico basin and the Overlook out on Charleston ... which even with a permit they don't give you exclusive access and a bunch of other not so accommodating rules, which was actually pretty disappointing . (My lady and I looked into it when we started planning our wedding) |

Thanks, Nick and Matt. Appreciate the shout out! I reached out to you directly Jonathan! I look forward to hearing back! |

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. We have looked into the permitting procedures and are open to all options. Trying to keep this as simple as possible. |
