Conditions on The Diamond (Long's) and Black Wall (Evans)

Wondering how much snow is up on Broadway and if the Rock is dry. Looking to climb kors door to directissima.

Also, how's the black wall looking? Looking to get in road warrior and good Evans.

Anybody been on the diamond or the black wall this season yet?

Judging from the webcam that's pointed 24/7, 365 days/year at the Diamond of Longs Peak, there seems to be quite a bit of snow on Broadway, I'd imagine there's a ton of web pitches on Casual. You can make out wet streaks on the face of both the Diamond and the Lower East Face.

Just looking at the D this morning from Chasm View. Everything left of Casual Route looks pretty darn dry. Casual's dihedrals are still wet, I'd bet. Folks have been climbing on Chasm View Wall recently and it's dry. Kor's Door is likely good to go. N Chimney looks dry up the initial slab, but is holding some snow in the upper part. Broadway is still mostly snow-covered.

I drove up Evans this past weekend. I was surprised how melted out the area was. From afar the black wall looked good to go. Hoping to do something on the diamond this weekend, which may be optimistic, but we'll see.
