Had my daughter two years a go and before that was serious about climbing and even spent a month climbing the Cordillera Blanca of Peru before my daughter was born. Needless to say my hobbies have slowed down a bit.
I was looking for info on a good elevation hike to do in the Colorado area which also requires some light scrambling and maybe a few rappels. Overnight is preferred but day hikes are encouraged as well. Looking for something in the advanced range but still doable solo.
Just breaking myself back in now that my daughter is older so thanks for any beta on the area.
Ellingwood Ridge on La Plata? You can do it all class 3, but rappels are optional. The route isn't typically done as an overnight but you'd likely want to camp/bivy at the trailhead.
